Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
Illustrate the achieved theoretical knowledge in physics with its practical applications, especially in civil engineering. Make the students acquainted with the operation of basic experimental apparatuses. Enable to measure selected physical quantities, compute dependent quantities and apply the simple statistical methods of measurement processing and evaluation.
Critically compare computed results with the tabulated ones or results determined by other methods.
