Summary
The aim of the subject is to repeat and complete basic knowledge of secondary
school physics. The subject should unite knowledge of students from different
types of school and help them easily overcome conversion from secondary to
tertiary education.

Subject syllabus:
1. LEGAL UNITS OF MEASUREMENT
2. MECHANICAL MOVEMENT
Kinematics of rectilinear motion of a particle,
uniform circular motion.
Strength as a physical quantity, physical laws,
Examples of force action.
Mechanical work, power, energy.
Torque, moment of inertia.
3. TEMPERATURE AND HEAT
Basic concepts - temperature, heat as a form of energy.
Equation of state of ideal gas, the gas going.
4. ELECTRICITY
Electric charge and its properties, the construction of the atom.
Electric field characteristics of homogeneous Elst. field in vacuum
(intensity, field lines, potential).
El. current in metals. DC circuits.
