Summary

V přednášce se probírají tři velké skupiny nekovových látek: keramika a nerostné suroviny, plasty a uhlíkaté látky. Hlavní důraz se přitom klade na strukturu materiálů. Široké spektrum popisovaných látek umožňuje posluchačům vytvořit si názor o souvislostech mezi stavbou pevných látek a jejich vlastnostmi (mechanickými, elektrickými, magnetickými atd.) a to i za extrémních podmínek. Pozornost se věnuje pravidelnosti (uspořádání) vnitřní struktury materiálů a různým formám jejího narušení jakož i vlivu tohoto narušení na vlastnosti látek.
