The use of diffraction methods (X-ray, electron, neutron, synchrotron radiation) for structure and phase analysis of nanomaterials.

Teaching methods

Summary

Předmět dává základy strukturní krystalografie, na které navazují difrakční metody studia krystalických materiálů. Důraz je kladen na pochopení obecných principů difrakce vlnového záření na periodických objektech, tak aby absolvent dokázal porozumět novým technikám vhodným pro výzkum nanomateriálů. Je probrán vliv velikosti částic a pnutí na difrakční jevy a vhodnost různých záření pro různé účely.
