Student will be able:
to characterize polluting gaseous and solid substances and their sources
to explain the basic principles of the removal of individual pollutants
to describe the equipment used for these purposes
to orient in legislation on air protection

Summary
The subject deals with technologies for reducing gaseous and solid emissions with an emphasis on the emissions from energy production, industry and transport. Students are acquainted with emissions formation and technical ways to minimize them.
The subject has a structure structured by a list of chapters from which the topics of priority will be chosen according to the specific assignment of the doctoral thesis and according to the student knowledge from previous study.

Emissions of nitrogen oxides and technologies for their reduction.
