Summary
The course focuses on modern methods of analysis of inorganic materials. Students will learn the methods of material preparation for analysis,
special techniques of material preparation to monitor harmful substances, optical, electrochemical and others modern methods of analysis.

Subject syllabus:
The subject
Sampling inorganic, organic and biological materials and their preparation for analysis of inorganic substances. Special methods of sample preparation (microwave digestion, sample preparation methods for subsequent assessment of hazard waste (preparation of aqueous extracts and extracts different agents, the basic principles and objectives of sequential leaching).
Optical methods of chemical analysis. Distribution. Physico-chemical principles. Atomic Spectroscopy, molecular spectroscopy in UV, VIZ and IR spectrum, mass and laser spectroscopy. Equipment. Applications.
Electrochemical methods of chemical analysis. Physico-chemical principles.
Basic methods. Potentiometry, polarography and voltametry. Equipment. Applications.
Radiochemical analysis (neutron activation analysis). Physico-chemical principles. Nuclear analytical methods and new trends in this field. Applications in analysis of inorganic materials.
