Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

Student gains practical experience and acquires skills in performing bibliographic research and work with scientific literature. The objective of the course is mainly conducting the literature review and prepare a substantial part of the theoretical part of the Bachelor thesis. The topic of the thesis is chosen by the student in the beginning of the semester from the topics made public by the individual educators.

Summary

Students working on theoretical and practical part of the thesis. The course is closed credit, which is the guarantor of this degree course based on documents and allowed the students a brief presentation of the results at the end of the semester.

Compulsory literature:

Literature is chosen according to the thesis topic.

Recommended literature:

BELCHER, Wendy Laura. Writing your journal article in 12 weeks: a guide to academic publishing success. Thousand Oaks: Sage Publications, c2009. ISBN 978-1-4129-5701-4. Further literature is recommended by the thesis supervisor according to the topic.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester

Průběžnou kontrolu práce provádí vedoucí bakalářské práce po dobu celého semestru. Předmět je uzavřen zápočtem, který je udělen garantem tohoto předmětu na základě podkladů vedoucího práce a na základě krátké prezentace výsledků studentů na konci semestru.
