Subject syllabus:
1. Introduction to laboratory exercises - introduction to the topics of the course and the conditions. Safety in laboratory. 2. Preparation of various kinds of samples for chemical and structural analysis 3. Mechanical processing (crushing, milling, grinding and homogenization). 4. Evaluation of particulate materials - the size and distribution. 5. Morphological characterization - Microscopy. 6. Modification of layered materials and the exfoliation-delamination. 7. Evaluation of nanofillers in composites. 8.Infrared spectroscopy - structural analysis. 9. Raman spectroscopy. 10. X- ray diffraction analysis. 11. Thermogravimetric analysis. 12. Quantitates and qualitative analysis. 13. Molecular modeling of structures and interaction.
