Subject syllabus:

1. Introduction to laboratory practice - introduction to the subject matter and conditions of its completion. Safety at work in the laboratory. . Preparation of different types of samples for chemical and structural analysis. 3. Mechanical processing (crushing, grinding, friction and homogenization). 4. Evaluation of particulate materials - size and distribution. 5. Morphological characterization of powders - microscopy. 6. Modification of layered materials and exfoliation-delamination. organophilization. 7. Embedding nanowires into the composite matrix. 8. Evaluation of nanoparticles in composites. 9.Infrared spectroscopy - structural analysis. 10. Raman spectroscopy structural analysis. 11. X-ray diffraction analysis phase and structural evaluation. 12.Termogravimetric analysis of temperature and materials conversion. 13. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of data comparison from different analytical methods. 14. Molecular modeling of structures and interaction.
