In the practical exercises the student will learn advanced methods of preparation of nanoparticles, nanomaterials and nanostructures. Ready products will be characterized by appropriate methods.

Summary
Within the framework of Practice of Advanced Nanostructure Preparation Technologies II the students will develop the knowledge gained during the lectures of the same subject related to the curriculum of the subject in practical excercisez. The aim is to deepen the student's knowledge about other possibilities of preparing nanostructures and nanomaterials.

Way of continuous check of knowledge in the course of semester
Before each task the student will be tested for the theoretical knowledge associated with the task. Without theoretical knowledge and knowledge of procedures, tasks can not be performed.

Subject syllabus:
1. Preparation of graphene using the CVD method
2. Preparation of graphene oxide by exfoliation of graphite
3. Characterization of prepared products and comparison of obtained structures
4. Spin coating - preparation of polymer nanocomposite
5. Characterization of the prepared polymer nanocomposite
6. Preparation of ibuprofen nanoparticles by RESS supercritical fluid technology
7. Preparation of ibuprofen nanoparticles by supercritical fluid technology using antisolvent method
8. Sol-gel methods for the preparation of metal nanoparticles
9. Characterization of the obtained product
10. Preparation of sorbent with magnetic nanoparticles
11. Characterization of prepared sorbent and application for removal of pollution
12. Bionanotechnology - preparation of colloidal solutions
13. Bionanotechnology - preparation of bionanocomposites
14. Characterization of the obtained bionanoproducts
