Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The subject is aimed to unify the physical knowledge to have a base for the creation of selected parts of physics for nanotechnology. The activity is focused on the following areas: particles and bodies in strength fields, molecular physics and thermodynamics, electrostatics, magnetic field, vibrations, wave properties of light, physics of atoms.

Teoretical and experimental aspects of Attenuated Total Reflection method. Surface plasmons, polariton waves. Surface Plasmonm Resonance method. Toal Internal Reflection Ellipsometry method. ATR, SPR, and TIRE applications for solid state physics experimental study.
