Summary

The aim of this subject is deepening of knowledge in the sphere of analytical methods for qualitative and quantitative organic analysis that are applied for characterization and testing of effectivity of nanostructured materials (sorbents, catalysts), nanomaterials with antibacterial effects and observation of interaction of nanostructured materials and nanoparticles with other materials such as organic compounds, biological tissues and others. The first part is aimed to study of chromatografic methods in connection with mass detectors GC/MS, GC/MSn, LC/MS, LC/MSn and utilization of gel permeation chromatografy. Attention will be aimed to advanced spectroscopic methods: NMR, high resolution ESR, FTIR and Raman spectrometry, mass spectrometry and possibilities of their application. The second part is aimed to practical exercises with chromatografic and spectroscopic reports to deepen students abilities to work with mentioned methods. Student will get basic skills for work with real chromatographic and spectroscopic data sets. Third part is aimed to practical preparation and optimalization of analytical methods for deepening his knowledge in the sphere of performing of analysis with quality results assurance and keeping of principle of good laboratory practise. Student will get skills for sample preparations and their analysis so that he will be able produce high-quality and reliable data sets, including of abilitity to perform method validation and calculate measurement uncertainety, especially for chromatografic methods.
