Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences
The subject aim is focused on the knowledges related to the magnetism of solid states and present magnetical physical base of nanostructures and complex magnetic materials. The course includes an overview of modern magnetic materials and their applications, theory describing microscopic and phenomenological theory of magnetism, magnetism of thin films and nanostructures, spin transport phenomena, magnetic information recording, magnetic sensors, and magnetic properties of special materials.

Subject syllabus:
Cílem předmětu je rozšířit znalosti z magnetizmu pevných látek, a podat fyzikální základy magnetismu nanostruktury a komplexních magnetických materiálů. Předmět zahrnuje přehled moderních magnetických materiálů a jejich aplikace, partie popisující mikroskopické a fenomenologické teorie magnetizmu, magnetizmus tenkých vrstev a nanostruktur, transportní spinové jevy, magnetický záznam informací, magnetické senzory, a magnetické vlastnosti speciálních materiálů.
