Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

The aim of the course is to deepen the student's knowledge of methods of preparation of nanomaterials based on organic substances, eg. polymers, pharmaceuticals, antimicrobial substances, dendrimers. Student will acquire an overview of organic materials and will be able to apply this knowledge for their own procedures.

Summary

Students will be acquainted with methods of preparation of organic nanoparticles and nanomaterials for various applications, eg in pharmaceutical and biomedical field, as well as in electronics or photonics. Knowledge and understanding of methods of preparation will lead to improvement of properties and discovery of new functions of prepared materials and will enable students to achieve the desired results within the solution of their dissertation.

Verification of the achieved study results will be carried out by evaluation of the quality of the seminar work and subsequently by an oral exam.
