Subject aims expressed by acquired skills and competences

1.To get an overview of the methods and techniques in management. 2.To be able to distinquish different techniques from knowledge, procedures and functions. 3.To describe the methods and techniques most commonly used in management. 4.To clarify the nature of the individual techniques. 5.To practically apply selected techniques. 6.To assess barriers to the use of selected techniques.

Summary

The aim of subject is to clarify the systematic and analytical methods and techniques to improve the performance of organizations in various business fields. It is used generalized experience of successful business management in parallel with the theoretical knowledge. Next aim - besides the acquisition of theoretical knowledge - is the practical skills of selected management methods and techniques. The aim from the students ‘point of view is to gain a survey of the management techniques, to clarify the background of the methods and techniques, to practically apply selected techniques and assess barriers of techniques application.

Evaluation of possible solutions and choice of problem solution 8. Phase of searching for solutions: - process of creative thinking - heuristic techniques 9. Prognostic methods 10. Methods of management by: - objectives - delegating authorisations - tasks - results - participation 11. Solving a problem (example)
